The Destination Wedding
This package is offered to clients who will be getting married (or eloping) outside of Ontario. All clients booking The Destination Wedding Package will receive a 40% discount on all package pricing as I'm currently hoping to build my portfolio with Destination Weddings.
Clients booking The Destination Wedding Package will be required to pay additional fees including:
- Travel Expenses - includes but not limited to transportation and accommodations.

The Wedding Process

Scheduling your initial wedding consultation call is essential for determining whether or not we are a perfect fit! Additionally, it allows you to ask any questions you may have for me, as well as provide me an update on the vision for your wedding day photography!
submit your booking inquiry
Once you've decided that M.Kalef Photography is the right photography team for you, it is time to submit your booking inquiry.
finalize the booking & submit your deposit
Upon receiving and accepting your booking inquiry, you will be prompted to submit your deposit (more information on this in the FAQ section). Additionally, you will be prompted to complete the rest of the documentation that is required to complete your booking.
Pre-Wedding planning
Planning your wedding day can be either stressful or enjoyable. As your wedding photographer, I strive to ensure that this process is seamless as possible to alleviate any stresses you may have! During this part of the process, we will touch base via virtual consult call to ensure that I get any information that I may need and you get the opportunity to ask lingering any questions you may have.
your wedding day & post-processing
After months, maybe even years, of planning your special day...the time has finally come to celebrate your love! My priority on the wedding day is the two of you and ensuring that the two of you can truly enjoy your day.
Once your wedding day has come to an end, I will commence the post-processing part of the photography process. This process can take up to 3 months to complete (as I am not currently a full-time photographer).

small event photography
This package is for individuals hosting events with less than 20 people in attendance. These sessions are priced at $275 + HST per hour.
large event Photography
This package is for individuals hosting events with more than 20 people in attendance. These sessions are priced at $325 + HST per hour.
These sessions are charged at an hourly rate, so you'll have the opportunity to choose how many hours you'd like photography for.
FAQ
Do I need a second shooter?
Second shooters are not required when booking with M.Kalef Photography; however, it's highly recommended to ensure that your special day is captured in the best way possible. It is often recommended to clients that the second shooters are hired for a minimum of 2 hours, to capture the getting ready process and the ceremony.
The second shooter fees are not included in the package prices. The second shooter fees for the 2026 season is $45-50 per hour, depending on the experience of the second shooter.

Can I add hours to my package?
Yes! I am more than happy to add hours to your wedding package, if it is deemed absolutely necessary. The reason that my packages go up to 8 hours is because I believe that you can capture every aspect of your wedding day within the 8 hour day.
Should you wish to add hours to your wedding package prior to the wedding day (or the day of your wedding should your wedding be delayed / running late for any reason), you would be required to pay my event hourly rate (see above).

Do you require a deposit at the time of booking?
Yes, I require a minimum of $500.00 + HST to be used as a deposit. This deposit is non-refundable as it will: (1) ensure that I block off the full-day for your wedding and (2) cover the cost of the engagement session that is included in your package.
Can I book an engagement session before the wedding package?
Of course! I have had several of my previous clients request to book their engagement session prior to booking their wedding package. Should you wish to do this, however, you will be required to book "The Couple Portrait" session separately and I can discount you the engagement session from the Wedding Package of your choosing.
